Tacarra: I love Luna because I am soo much like her!!! Now, I DID NOT DO THIS TO IMITATE LUNA. It was a complete coincidence. So... my school orchestra had a concert so we had to dress up. I wore a white shirt with a black polka-dot tie, untucked collared white shirt, pigtail braids, pleated grey skirt, purple and black striped stockings and uniform-approved loafers. AND I had a necklace of about 20 or so of the soda can-opener top things and a pen (sorry not a wand) behind my ear. To top it all off, the book I was reading had a strange picture in it, and I was looking at it upside-down. I honestly didn`t do it on purpose. I think I’m a hard-core Luna fan and I didn’t even know it.

Meg: To tell you the truth she's a bit like me – weird, wacky and much more. Evanna you stole my dream Harry Potter part. :(

Brittany: She would be my best friend, she is just so random and everything. Most of my friends say that when they read the book they immediately thought of me for Luna, I take that as a huge compliment. Because she stands up for what she is and she isn't afraid of what people think, and most of all she is completely honest with herself and every one around her.

Grace: I love how Luna just does whatever she wants. She doesn't exactly care what other people think. She dances to her own beat, and I entirely admire that.

Cherubim: Luna is what will align the planets, make the world unite, and promote peace. She's not afraid of herself, or anyone else, for that matter. She dances to the beat of her own drum. She is a good listener, loyal, and believes in everything. She has the kind of unconditional faith that we can all learn from. Luna is like an escape from society, the conformity that we have grown up. She is those long forgotten nights running through the cattails, watching the fireflies twinkle amongst the stars. She is salvation.

Amanda: I love Luna because she's not afraid to be different and doesn’t care what people think about her. I’m kind of like Luna, I have little friends, I’m kind of touched in the head, I mean she’s not afraid of being different...DIFFERENT IS GOOD!!! People need to be different because if nobody’s different than the world will be very, very, VERY boring. I think Luna is great because she is a sweet, sensitive, loving witch who the world needs to pay more attention to.

Jessie: I love her because she's so disturbingly honest. It's like she honestly doesn't care about other people, but I like that, you know she does so she seems real, like she hides the pain.

Jocelyn Lytton: I love Luna because she is her own person. She reminds me of me. I think she is so awesome!!

April: Wow, I like luna because she has her own style and is unique, she's brave and is a good person. She's different but that's good because she stands out. L:una has to be one of my favourite charactors and I think Evanna will protray her well. She doesn't look at other people and try and copy them she is always herself and is loving life. She is a good role model and she is the sort of person we should try to be.

Raven: Well since everyone is like "Look there's Loony Lovegood" I just think that she is just different. She is sooo unique. But she knows whats going on even if everyone thinks she's crazy. She doesn't care what other people think about her. She is so much like me. Because I'm just like looking on the outside-in just like she is most of the time.I think that she is an awesome added character that J.K Rowling put in her 5 book. Evanna Lynch is excactly the way I imagined Luna.

Rose:I love Luna because she is funny and dreamy and is not afraid to be herself. She has always been my favorite character. She is very smart, and no one should call her loony, and she is optomistic. I think she is the very best character, she is JK Rowlings favorite character, too. She is very nice. She is my idol. She is unique, but believes what others don't, like who else believed in a wrattspurt? They are invisible and float through your ears and make your brain go fuzzy. She makes me laugh, but I can connect to her. She is the best.

Mary Kate: I love Luna because she is so different and isn't worried about what other people think.

Brittany: I love Luna because she has all of these crazy theories and beliefs and is a really funny character. She is also not afraid to be her own person and stands up for herself.

Sarah: Luna is RAD!

Kendra Lee: I like luna because she is just like me, in the way that she is crazy and doesn't care what people think and she is the charector that I relate to the most in the whole series.

Rutty: Luna is one of my favorite characters in all of HP history! She is hilarious, kind, creative, and doesn't care what other people think. Most of the time I wish I could be more like her in those personality traits. I love how she is pleased by simple things too. GREAT PERSON.

Kelsey: She's so...random...I absolutely love it. She believes what she wants to, she doesn't follow the crowd. Even though she's thought of as insane or loony, I bet she's the most sane one of them all.

Victoria: Luna is a fascinating character, she doesn't care what anyone thinks....(or perhaps she doesn't notice) either way, the way she dresses and how she acts, thats just who she is. She doesn't care if people laugh at her or what they say, which is so surprising because that really doesn't happen anymore, she's like a role model.

Dawn: I like her cause she is very unique and to me, pretty. She stands out, and she hardly cares what people think of her. My favorite detail of her uniquness is the way she sticks her wand behind her ear! It all makes perfect sense. I can't wait to see Evanna do it in the movies. She also has a strong belief in what she believes in. She is some character!

Cammile: She's awesome! A one of a kind person.

Ivana: I Love her because she's sooo random and perky and awesome!! She always [knows] how to put a smile on someones face and I love that about her!! She also is very unique and different;l shes obviously not afraid to express her opinions regardless of what people will think of her..I love her.

Michelle: I love Luna because she stands up for herself and doesn't care what other people say about her. She's also honest to Harry, Ron, and Hermione and she's friendly. She even defends them from being insulted and I love that in Luna. And she's funny.

Dana: I LOVE YOU IAM SO MUCH LIKE YOU BECAUSE I AM LOONY TOO!!!! LOL(LAUGH OUT LOUD)!!!HEE HEE! YOU ROCK LUNA

Leridan: I like her because of her quidditch comment. I hope she will be commenting every time from now on!

Lauren: She just has so many great quirks that make her so awesome and lovable! She's very independent and she doesn't care what people think of her. She never gets peer pressure and does her own thing, the way she feels it should be done. She is just a character to admire and really look up to in the Harry Potter series. I also like her because she isn't bothered by things most people are. She just reminds me to be myself and never give up. LUNA ROX!!!!!

Elizabeth: I like her because she is so feircely loyal, a companion who was there for harry when he needed help the most: The department of ministries. plus, she's just the coolest thing on this side of the galaxy!

Jessica: I like her because she's funny and she don't care to make bold statments or tell the honest truth; no matter how hurtful the truth is. She talks passionatly about the things she believes in and stands by her beliefs difiently. But most of all she shows people that she doesn't care to be different and she doesn't follow steryotypes. Plus she's a hilarious character.

Amanda: Luna is a good person in the book and the girl that plays her in the movie, i hope would be acting like Luna in the book. From the way Luna talks and looks at Harry Potter you can tell she adores him. So anyways i hope it would be like the book. All my friends are true to the book.

Anni: I'm sorry because my english is very bad but Luna is my favourite person in Harry Potter books. She is hwo she is and she don«t care what someone else tell about her. I can't write because my english is so bad but I think Luna is the best. And Evanna is good of course!

Luna: WHO SHOULDN'T??? Luna is the best charecter because she is honest, kind, loyal, and NOT afraid to be herself. She is smart and a little wierd, but it's more to love! She's always there to help, and adds extra assistance by her special sight (not the Qubbiler glasses, the thestrals) She inspired me so much, and I love her name!! I had always loved the name Luna, because it means moon and I love astronomy, and that started my intrest in Luna. But now I'm obsessed! I know pretty much everthing there is to know about her, I looked up who would be playing her part before anyone I knew! At first, I was a little dissapointed, Evanna's hair isn't exactly 'dirty' blonde, but who's to say she won't be good at the part? I hope she does it well, lest there be a sad Luna fan...:( But anyways, back to my Luna rambling...she is the bast charecter and everyone should love her, who cares if she's wierd, not a lot of people give her the credit she deserves!! I think she knows more than most people are expecting, I looked on MuggleNet for any 'rumors' about her, NONE! That got me ticked, but I think we shall see MUCH more of our dear Luna in the final chapter of the series. LUNA FANS ARE THE BEST! (yes, my name is Luna, coincidence, no?)

Monica: I love her because she is weird, and i'm weird!!SHe's brilliant and smart!!!The girl knows what she wants and that's magnificient.

Sydney: I love Luna because she is unique and loyal. She doesnt care if people call her names she always tries to be one thing... herself.

Kerry: I love Luna because she doesn't care what other people think about her and she's not afraid to be brutally honest. She is my idea of a close next-door-neighbor type friend where your relationship is not very well known but you are still really close. Luna is the type of person who would always do the right thing without even realizing that the right thing might not be popular. Luna is the perfect role model.

Brenna: Well, to say the least... I always pictured myself as the Luna type. Blonde, blue eyes... kind of ditsy... but above all, it was the courage and willingness to help others no matter the risk that really made me like her. We have so much in common, I felt almost as if I could be her American twin.

Yokohama: I can relate to her in so many ways, it scary. . .I wish there was some way I could have tried out for the role. (Though, I'm not quite sure they would have chosen me, seeing as I'm from the States, but God knows I can fake a hell of a good English accent!)She doesn't care about what people think and when there's someone who's trying to go against her belives and theories, she stands her ground and is just as confident as her opponent. She's just so mysterious and brave! I just hope, Hope, HOPE that Evanna Lynch was the right choise. . .I am a little jealous, but hey--she representing. She has the eyes a bit like Luna's, though, believe it or not, Evanna Lynch, you could pass as Draco's fraternal twin!!

Rayna: I think Luna is the definition of unique. She stands out from the rest of the crowd, and doesn't care what other people think of her. She also stands up for what she believes in, even when no one is there to support her. I think she is a perfect role model, because she's smart (otherwise she wouldn't have gotten into Ravenclaw), and she lives by her own rules, something that is very rare these days. Most teens try to fit in with the "in-crowd", giving them an air of insecurity. But not Luna. She knows exactly who she is, and is not afraid to show it.

Rachael: Because she is so much like me!!

Genny and Silas: Luna is our absoulote favourite character. She is just so out there with an attitude that is just so great. She brings fresh new life to the books.Instead of making fun of her, people should appreaciate her ability to read upside down. We botht ried it and it's hard. Luna rocks,from the both of us.

Steven: I respect her alot. I'm an albino so I know what it feels like to be outcasted especially at that awkward age of 14. Reading about Luna's attitude did help me get through the rest of 8th grade. Thanks Luna.

aLLenamacLeod: I like Luna because she's so strange, but yet so wise. She can make you feel totally uncomfortable one minute, then the next, you can be telling her things you never told anyone before, and you can trust her. Even though Luna doesn't have many friends, she's a really good one!

Ria: I think Luna is my favorite because she is very unique. She's entirely herself. Plus most of the things that come out of her mouth are amusing and unconventional. If I could be anyone from the Harry Potter series, I'd be her.

Joshehh: She's weird, which is a good quality to have, she has a wide range of mind, and doesn't care what other people think of her. She has many idea's and an extensive imagination, which makes her one of the best characters. Rock On Luna!

Jill: I love Luna because she's just so, out of it. Not only that but when she gets made fun of because she believes in everything no one else does, she doesn't really care. She gets a little bit annoyed for about a minute, and then she just lets it go. She doesn't care what everyone else thinks, and is always simply hilarious, with her Gryffindor lion hat, and stuff. She's very unique, when most people just "follow the crowd" I like that about her.

Julia: I used to love luna before evanna lynch was casted as her. I love luna lovegood because shes weird and even though most people dont want to admit it, every single human is weird in one way or another so basically she is what all people would be like (in the sense that they would all be unique) if people were always themselves.

Kamana: I really love Luna because she is a very practical girl and brave, as well as confident. She really matches good with harry.

Cho: I love Luna because...she's Luna. There are absolutely no words to enquire and describe her daydreamy, dazed-out, random quotes, and how enjoyable it is to read about her. Fans like myself can easily find ourselves wondering, "What is Luna Lovegood wondering? What is she up to next?" Love live Luna Lovegood!

Taylar: I love Luna because she is a really fun charecter.

Anna: I love Luna because she listens to others and hears them out before she puts in her own opinions. She's also a good friend. She also thinks for herself and does her own thing. She's a great character!

Aenna: Luna is one of my favorite characters because she is the closest things in the series to me and my attitude. Not to mention the rep she has as being the weird and so far out there that no one in their right mind will even sit on the same planet as her, let alone a room. Which describes me perfectly.

Jack: Are there words to describe why Luna is cool? There are a few. I think Luna is awesome because she is so much like me. She is weird, she has her own opinions, she believes in things that no one else does, and so much more!!! A main reason is that she just sounds fun to be with. Also, she is good at Divination which is cool. If I were a girl, I would look up to Luna Lovegood and be like her. But since I am a guy, I'll just act like her anyways.

Amber: Luna is really unique. She is definately her own person. As Harry said in the sixth book, her personality makes her worth taking to any party, boring or lively. Luna has her own special opinion on everything, which makes her funny and interesting. Luna is definately not ordinary. She is really cool and unlike anyone else. Luna is really caring, trustworthy, and would do anything for a friend. I really love reading about Luna.

Catalina: Luna is the epitome of confidence. She knows who she is and where she stands, and always will.

Dene: Luna is great because she's not any kind of stereotypical character. The only label you might be able to stick on her would be "weird" or "hard to label" because I don't think I've ever seen another character like her in anything I've read or seen. Another thing I like about her is she knows she's thought of as "weird" by the general public, but she knows full well she has the right to be herself, not matter what other people say.

Kay Maria: Well, I for one like the fact that she has an out of the box way of thinking. Also no matter what she believes she never lets anyone shoot down her beliefs. She's an idol type of girl for the most part. And there's also the fact that she, being a brand new character and all, was the only other member of the D.A. to help out Hary and she was the only to help who wasn't in Gryffindor.

Sherry: She's amazing! She has her own style and always makes a fashion statment somehow. I get this mysterious vibe from her too like she's got a lot more to her past than letting on...like how her mom died. And I really want to know if she has proof of the crumple horned snokcacks and nargles and all of those other crazy things. She's a nut case and my favorite character!!

Sarah: Luna is cool because she is her own person. She doesn't let what other people think affect who she is. She's also content with herself and proud to be who she is. I think she is a great role modle as well because she teaches girls that it's okay to be who you are and that you don't need anyone to tell you what to do or what to be. Luna marches to the beat of her own drum and that's always cool!
